It is therefore recommended to consider the pros and cons of a particular career before making a decision. This will help avoid regrets later in life which can be very costly and waste a lot of time. Many factors should be taken into consideration when deciding on a career, like an individual’s interest and qualifications in education and the goals of the career, family concerns as well as abilities and skills as well as professional qualifications. This paper will provide an in-depth analysis of the various aspects that affect your career choices. The main attention will be on me, who holds a Master of Business Administration in Information Systems, and the factors I need to consider when deciding on my career path.


The path a person takes in their career plays a significant role in determining his lifestyle about success or lack thereof. It is the process of advancing throughout one’s life, including formal education and working in a professional setting. Due to the growth and development of different economic fields, There has been a surge in the variety of jobs available to make the most of the opportunities created to succeed through increased productivity. This is because people play an important role in the work of organizations because of their skills.

While the rise of numerous jobs is thought to be a benefit because it allows individuals to be able to apply their academic qualifications in various sectors of economics However, it comes with some disadvantages also. In particular, it’s associated with creating confusion regarding career choices as individuals are offered many options (Brown 2002). This is a document that outlines a plan of action for the things I need to consider when deciding on my future career. My educational background includes a Master of Business Administration in Information Systems and my goal now is to figure out what is the most suitable career choice for me.

Issue Identification

The identification of issues is a crucial process in making decisions, regardless of the degree of complexity. It helps in making the right decision from the various options available or options. It also allows the successful implementation of strategies and the achievement of outcomes related to the issue being addressed. When you identify the issue it is possible to come up with a long-term solution instead of a continual issue that requires revisiting. Similar to any other issue choosing a profession is now a challenge for many people because they are overwhelmed by possibilities without considering all possible options and the consequences.

I am an individual who has performed very well in my studies, getting a bachelor’s degree in Computer sciences as well as a Master’s in Business Administration in Information Systems. While this is an excellent education, it will not assure me of a position in the job market. This means that there’s a lot to consider when choosing my profession. One of the primary things to think about is the individual’s interests and educational background in addition to the stability of their job and potential for promotion, as well as the amount of compensation provided.

This is in direct correlation to the reality that I’m not in the proper position, which means that my compensation is not as high. Being at a lower position or level could hinder the possibility of advancement or advancement.

Other questions that may aid me in my career path are: what are my hobbies? What are my skills? What are my strengths? What’s my character? What are my motives? The evaluation of your answers can aid in deciding on a better job. The conclusion is that I’m not at my best and I must take the necessary steps to accomplish my goals.

My problem

My biggest issue is the fact that I feel that I’ve not achieved my full potential because my job at the help desk as a specialist isn’t in line with my objectives. This is especially true regarding satisfaction at work which is essential to allow individuals to excel in every aspect of life. Therefore, the real question has to be “What is the best career for me?”

Issue Analysis

Issue analysis is the process of analyzing the issue in greater detail trying to determine the most effective solution. While the job of a help desk technician is in line with the field of information technology, I believe that it’s not my ideal career choice. It is because of the specializations that I studied in school, as well as my passions and motives. My entry-level position has also hindered my opportunities for advancement and caused my pay to be below my expectations, this reduces my self-esteem and the desire to change towards a better alternative.

While researching possibilities of careers in the area of information technology, I am struck by the variety of opportunities for individuals working within this field. A few of them include network administrator technicians, help desk, website masters, database admin computer programmers, and repair technicians, among other positions (Reynolds 1999).

Before making any choice the alternatives must be considered. This will ensure that there are some alternatives and that the most suitable option is chosen to find the best solution. Based on my academic background and the determination to pursue a job that can boost the growth and achievement of my company regardless of where I am located There are a variety of options to pick a profession. There are a variety of options, including network administrator, software developer, database administrator, and webmaster. They will be more suitable for me in comparison to the help desk technician (Fisher 2004).

In addition to developing the previously mentioned alternatives, it is also necessary to determine the most suitable alternative. The options will be evaluated on factors like education background, job security as well as remuneration and advancement possibilities. After careful consideration of the options above I choose to go for a career as a software developer since there is more job stability and better chances to advance. Pay is also excellent and is something that I am interested in. When one is involved in any activity one should ensure that they’re involved in a field where one believes that one can have an impact on the people surrounding the world (Stair and Stair 2005).


To be successful I’ll work on my computer abilities. To accomplish this I’ll take three months of a language course beginning the next semester. The cost of the course is approximately $3000, which I will finance with my savings. I will be proactive in my job search, and after I find a job as a software developer I will make use of the skills for my benefit as well as the good of the company as a whole.

Yesterday, I discussed the fact that experiences from a young age can impact subsequent development. But the most significant element of development is the connection between the child and an authoritative person, be it an adult, a grandparent, or a caretaker. This can serve as an avenue for the child’s connection to the individual in later years. In the words of Fraigberg (1996) declared, “Our identity – the very center of our humanness – is achieved through the early bonds of child and parent” (p. 294). A common definition of attachment is the bond that exists between a person and their caregiver, a deeply emotional bond.

Different types of attachments may influence different stages of development. For instance, children who are not secure with their mothers are more likely to use physical aggression and disobedience towards their mothers (Malekpour 2007 page. 85).
