Bridging Epistemological Traditions with Scientific Rigour
Traditional systems of medicine—notably Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, Sowa-Rigpa, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and classical ethnomedicine—offer centuries of holistic clinical observation and botanical therapeutics. Concurrently, modern biomedical methodologies provide advanced analytical, cellular, and epidemiological frameworks.
IJTIHS aims to:
- Cultivate multidisciplinary discourse validating classical pharmacopeia through standardization, phytochemical characterization, and molecular pharmacology.
- Foster clinical evidence through randomized controlled trials (RCTs), comparative effectiveness studies, and observational practice-based outcome research.
- Develop integrative care protocols that combine traditional constitutional diagnostics with contemporary diagnostic pathology and preventative medicine.
- Provide global accessibility to peer-reviewed, open-access literature advancing ethical healthcare, global health equity, and evidence-informed health policies.
