Submitting a formal book proposal allows our acquisitions editors and external peer referees to evaluate the intellectual validity, market necessity, and pedagogical scope of your manuscript before full completion. Authors are not required to complete the entire book prior to proposal submission.
All submitted prospectuses undergo initial editorial scoping within 2 to 3 weeks. Works that meet our imprint standards are advanced to external domain experts for rigorous double-blind evaluation.
Proposal Dossier Checklist
- ✦ Executive Abstract: A 350–500 word statement outlining the core thesis, clinical relevance, and pedagogical depth.
- ✦ Annotated Table of Contents: Chapter-by-chapter outline with 150-word summaries for each proposed chapter.
